These terms govern your access to and use of LingoChaps Studio (https://studio.lingochaps.com) and related localization software platforms operated by LingoChaps Translation Services from India. By creating an account, topping up credits, or processing media through our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
LingoChaps Studio provides multimedia speech-to-text transcription, bilingual translation, on-screen text (OST) vision extraction, subtitle authoring (.srt/.vtt), and technical document conversion (PDF to Word, DWG/DXF engineering drawings, and EPS vector graphics). The service is offered on a credit-based, pay-as-you-go basis as described on our Pricing page.
You sign in via verified Google Workspace accounts or authorized business email credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all processing runs submitted under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in unauthorized scraping, fraud, or violations of these terms.
Processing allowances ("credits") are purchased in upfront packs through our secure payment gateway partner (Razorpay). Credits are deducted according to the actual duration or computing seconds consumed by your jobs. Credits do not expire. Refunds are governed under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
You retain 100% full ownership rights to all source files (audio, video, documents, and technical drawings) you upload, as well as all generated transcripts, subtitles, and translated outputs. You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and process the media you submit.
LingoChaps processes your files solely to execute the requested localization and conversion pipelines. See our Data & Privacy Policy for storage and retention schedules.
You agree not to upload content that infringes upon third-party copyrights or trademarks, contains malicious software or viruses, or violates export control or communications laws. You agree not to attempt to circumvent account usage limits, reverse engineer platform endpoints, or interfere with normal server operations.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we utilize state-of-the-art neural speech and vision models (including Google Gemini) with high quality standards, automated transcription and translation accuracy depends on audio clarity, speaker overlap, background noise, and accent variations. We encourage human review of mission-critical legal or technical outputs prior to public release.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the incident. LingoChaps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi/Noida, India.
